BRAND AMBASSADOR & SALES ASSOCIATE

Good Cravings is seeking hard-working, outgoing brand ambassadors and sales team members to support at numerous farmer’s markets. Being passionate about a healthy lifestyle and having a basic sales experience is a huge plus.

Time Commitment: Saturdays and Sundays are a must; plus one or two weekdays depending on the market schedules and your availability.

Location: our facility is located in Spring, TX, close to 249N and FM 1960 (Willowbrook Mall area). Our markets take place in different areas of town, you have to be prepared for long driving as a part of your job, however, we will be glad to consider your physical location and align it with those markets that work best for you.

Job Summary:

  • Pickup the product at the facility at the designated time;
  • Drive to the market;
  • Setup tent, tables, products and marketing materials;
  • Engage customers, encourage them to try samples, educate on product benefits;
  • Sell the product to interested customers;
  • Account and track market performance and sales;
  • Properly store product after the market;
  • Represent Good Cravings with respect and integrity.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • You must be punctual and have good time management;
  • You must be physically able to lift heavy objects (up to 40lb);
  • You have to drive a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license;
  • You have to be available on the weekend, and have sufficient rest before every event; weekend markets start early, you would need to get up around 6am depending on where you live.
  • You have to like socializing with people and have a clean appearance at every market;
  • Our markets are outdoor events, rain or shine, hot or cold, you have to take this into consideration;
  • You have to possess a smartphone that can work with Square Point of Sale app
  • You have to have good math skills.

Training and orientation:

  • You have to commit to a week of unpaid training and orientation that will require for you to travel to a few markets and spend around 2-3 hours at each so you can receive a full hands-on training;
  • After a successful orientation, we will reserve a right to a two-week trial period through which we can decide whether we are a good fit for each other. You will be compensated at our base hourly rate plus commissions if applicable.
  • After a two-week trial period, you will be offered a contract position. You will be responsible for your own taxes.

Compensation:

  • $12/h or $60 per market (average market duration is 5 hours including 1 hour for setup and breakdown) plus 10% commission when certain sales threshold is reached.
  • You will be offered special prices on our product and gas reimbursement if traveling over 40 ml to the market destination.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Our company is searching for a Personal Assistant who can assist with administrative tasks and help improve productivity. We are looking for an Integrator who can translate ideas and visions into structured plans and a solid foundation for execution. An ideal candidate is naturally analytical, skilled in deductive reasoning, and highly adept at implementing solutions.  

Time Commitment: Flexible schedule with 15-20 hours a week commitment as a start. The hours will be increased based on your work performance and company’s needs. This is partially a remote job with weekly meetings.

Location: Our facility and main office are located in Spring, TX, close to 249N and FM 1960 (Willowbrook Mall area). However, due to a remote nature of this work, our meetings will be held at other convenient locations in town, as well as online and phone communication.

Job Summary:

  • Running business errands and maintaining company’s files;
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/ administrative systems;
  • Internet research;
  • Maintaining Quickbooks;
  • Conducting business emails and phone calls;
  • Customer service calls and leads follow-up when appropriate;
  • Billing and invoices;
  • Filing applications for various events on behalf of the company;
  • Periodically running product cost analysis and similar production costs reviews.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred);
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel;
  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills;
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop or other design software is a plus.

Training and orientation:

  • We reserve the right for 30-day Orientation and Review period which will help both parties to establish a structured workflow.  
  • After a successful orientation, you will be offered a contract position.

Compensation:

  • Will depend on your previous experience and skill set;
  • The orientation period (four weeks) will be compensated at a flat weekly rate with the appropriate hourly rate once the contract is offered.

CONTENT CREATOR & MANAGER

Good Cravings is looking for a qualified Content Creator and Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to raise brand awareness and reach our business goals.

Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, demonstrates creative writing skills and performs well under deadlines. Knowledge in content optimization and web traffic metrics is a plus.

  • Keeping up to date with industry best practices and monitoring content activities of competitor websites;
  • Repurposing content for different mediums including social media and video;
  • Helping the owner to create content for the different social media channels;
  • Updating all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories;
  • Engaging with the followers on behalf of the company when needed.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred);
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision;
  • Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English;
  • Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content;
  • Previous experience working as a content manager or copywriter would be an advantage.
